Why didn't the starters have Escalades? Come on man, use some logic.

I'm sure VT bends the rules from time to time but there is no way in hell we are giving players Escalades just to get them to sign... especially not 3rd stringers!

I am not saying it hasn't happened before over the last couple decades, but it definitely isn't part of the VT culture like it is at the top programs (and even the crappy programs in the $EC).
