They allowed the AD to hire Petino, they allowed him not to fire Petino during the thing where the woman was blackmailing him and the hooker thing (this is a guy who was tainted when he was hired and should have had 0 second chances).

They allowed the AD to re-hire Petrino after his history.

At some point those that are supposed to be the adults in the room need to be held accountable for failing to be the adults in the room. The AD and his people were allowed to continually make bad decisions and that falls on the entire Univ leadership who should all be removed.
