Fuente's note about protecting the ball reminds me how vital the fumble was
Seriously, that fumble just took all the wind out of our sails. WE came back from the half, the Defense did an awesome job not only holding them, but causing them to loose yards for a 3 and out. Offense gets it back, starts moving the ball, and then fumbles. The result, Clemson ends up with a touch-down on a 4th and goal, and our D was on the field getting worn down again.
We lost serious momentum... the game could have been headed in a totally different direction. That fumble was vital.
Regardless, I think the loss makes our team better in the long run. But for the love of God, protect the ball.
