2 tiers/divisions. After each season, top two from lower tier move up, bottom two from upper tier move down. With that as a basic premise, figure out the details of how many teams in each division, format, and give the lower tier at least one crack a year against an upper tier team, etc. It would probably hurt recruiting at some schools, but would give us more great matchups for TV. Right now the conference has a lot of good teams worth watching, but no one around the country cares because of too many mediocre teams resulting in poor matchups.
