Maybe. I'm not so sure. Don't know for sure

I've been to Pullman, Washington and never Provo, but Salt Lake City and there just isn't much to do in Pullman. BYU's problem has been the inability to keep the LDS kids at home, or at BYU. Leach could likely increase their recruiting dramatically and get some athletes. WSU has new sports facilities, but is second in the nation as most debted-in debt with it's athletic program of all FBS athletic depts. Financially, it's shaky. The difference maker in my opinion would be the payscale. BYU currently pays about low as a coach can go on FBS level, and this is because they have a rule in place that prevents Church Tithing or Church Money from being allowed to support the athletic department. If that rule changed, he would likely be paid one of the highest salaries in the country. They are wealthy, wealthy and have the money. If they continue to lose long enough, things could change. The major advantage at WSU is it being a power 5 school. I still think Leach would have more trouble recruiting at WSU than BYU.
