Week Seven ACC Game Predictions

To get started, I project another shut out over Bye this weekend. Unfortunately, they'll keep us off the board too.

In all seriousness, I did pretty well last week picking every game right. In fact, outside of the Miami-FSU games (and arguably the Cuse-Pitt game), I generally had the right idea as to how the games would go and I came real close on our game and the Clemson-WF game.

But enough patting myself on the back because I'm sure it all falls apart right here....

Clemson 35 Syracuse 24: A rare Friday ACC matchup. The game is in the Carrier Dome and Bryant may not play (and probably won't be full speed if he does). However, I think Cuse raises eyebrows more with how much they score.

Pittsburgh 31 NC State 28: They don't call it the ACC Wheel of Destiny for nothing. Here's my upset special. The game is at Pitt and is sandwiched into a four game stretch that also includes Louisville (got the W), @ND, and Clemson. The slide starts a game early for the Pack. Just a gut feeling here.

Florida State 21 Duke 7: FSU's QB and OL situations are a mess. But the defense should keep the Duke offense in check. Daniel Jones has officially regressed... or at least his supporting cast has.

Louisville 51 Boston College 14: Nothing to see here. Lamar Jackson and company will get their frustrations out on the hapless Eagles.

Miami 21 Georgia Tech 19: I expect a good one here. Miami's offense took a hit this week with Walton being out now. Not that either place has an outstanding home field advantage, but I'm going with the homestanding Hurricanes here, who are determined to get their first Coastal crown.

Virginia 24 North Carolina 17: Another close win for the Hoos over a less than stellar opponent. This will put the Hoos one win away from bowl eligibility.
