The author has VT as the sixth best team in the ACC.

I was compelled to break out his rankings by conference. As I did so, I noticed some surprising rankings.

Here's how the author (went to Western Connecticut State University and owned a defunct site called College Hoops Journal) ranked the conferences:

1. Big 12 (49.9 avg)--10 teams
2. Big East (54.3)--10 teams
3. Big 10 (55.4)--14 teams
4. ACC (57.3)--15 teams
5. SEC (57.8)--14 teams
6. PAC 12 (74.8)--12 teams

Is the Big East REALLY that good?
