This game has the same feel for me as the 2004 matchup

A few differences but some similarities.

2004 was for the ACC title
2017 is basically for the coastal division. (I know if we win we still have to take care of business against GT, Pitt, UVA which is not a gimme)

2004 was 12th ranked VT @ 10th ranked Miami
2017 is 13th ranked VT @ 8th (or 10th) ranked Miami

Both teams are near the top defensively as they were in 2004

To me Josh Jackson reminds me of Bryan Randall more than any other past Hokie QB
