If ND wins out they will get one playoff spot. If both Bama and UGA win out and UGA loses the SECCG by one point, there is a strong chance SEC gets 2 schools in.

At that point there would be just 1 spot for Pac12, Big12, Big10, and ACC. That outcome would move the needle towards an 8 game playoff.

If it happened 2 times in about 3 years, we would have an 8 team playoff before the current agreement expires.
