I have lived in ATL for 20+ years. I recommend:


1) Cyclorama: The world's largest oil painting and a mural of the Civil War battle of Atlanta. This may sound boring but the presentation is really cool.
2) Georgia Aquarium: largest in the world
3) Stone Mountain: take the cable car to the top..great view on a nice day
