for being. Not that they were better than us but they were good. Didn’t they go on & win the National Championship that year or mayb the next. Plus, the rain played a factor, lact of physical recovery time & course there is some mental preparation. Maybe our coaches were tired, too. Lact of rest can affect mental sharpness for play calling. I don’t think VT has been so strong in recent years that we can blow many teams out. A close game can easily be lost. Luck and refs sometime have an effect, too.
