It means that he understands we have SERIOUS limitations on offense

as far as personnel was concerned. If you simply step back, you can see that the personnel we have right now is not just bottom half of the ACC, it might be bottom quartile. I literally see two guys we have on the offense (3 if Nijman comes back) that would start for half of the other teams in the ACC. Remember what Nehlen said after our win over WVU? He said we didn't have a single RB that would get a touch for WVU. He wasn't wrong. Outside of Teller, who else on our OL would be playing at Clemson? Which of those guys could play at Miami?

The fact that we looked as adequate as we did on offense for so long is miraculous. I think we may be seeing another reason why we crawled into a shell against BC so early. We didn't want to keep the tape rolling and show anything else. We just wanted to get to the end of the game and give as little a glimpse into what we had as possible. Similar against Duke.

And FWIW, Fuente has been saying all of this since Spring. This isn't just the last two weeks. He has said this ALL YEAR. But when you have two guys on the offense that would start for half or more of the other teams in the league (and IMO, Cam wouldn't be the #1 WR at many other ACC schools), you're in trouble. Savoy shouldn't be our #2 WR. He should be redshirting. Grimsley should be redshirting. Deluliis should be redshirting (and will probably still get a medical redshirt). Fuente and staff are literally trying everything they have.
