opined that the HC/AthDept must hate to see you visit. I had to agree. The poster also opined that I wasn't entitled to seats, and if I wanted better seats, I should give more. I had to agree to some of that also.
However, I am entitled to know how the process works, and who made the decision(s). If someone doesn't ask questions, the reply is also, well no one said anything, so it was a good decision.
If you do make inquiries, be aware that if you ask the VTTO, they refer you to the HC. If you ask the HC, they refer you to the VTTO. No one (VTTO/HC/AthDept) wants to be accountable and accept responsibility (again, corporate behavior). Send us your money, and be grateful for what you get.
I encourage you to ask for answers to legitimate questions. It will be a slog, because no one wants to answer (IMO, they don't want to answer because the decision may not be defensible. Just ask. Pull back the corporate veil.
