Better than only being able to afford a house an hour away, and...


spending 2-3 hours a day of your life driving.

Not sure where you guys live, but it must be nice.

Forget about buying a house in DC/SF/NYC if you are 30, and are only making 150-200K per year. You can't afford a place that's 1200/sq foot. And that's making GOOD MONEY.
