Not even close, when you normalize by the NBA shot clock


The Warriors take 115% of the shot clock per shot per team, which places them only in the top 17 percentile of NBA teams.

Our game the other night went at 75% of the shot clock per shot per team, or *50% faster* than the Warriors play.

The Warriors are by far the top offensive efficiency team in the NBA, but they are also the #7 defensive efficiency team. They couldn't possibly get there by cranking up shots as fast as possible like The Citadel.
