Obviously the SEC bias, but more specifically they are determined that the SEC get 3 teams into the New Year’s Six. If Auburn loses to Alabama, they’ll get in at 9-3 (at the expense of say, a 10-win Oklahoma State or TCU), Georgia will get in unless they lose two more, and I would say Alabama not only has a lock on the New Year’s Six, but a playoff spot as well. A loss to either Auburn or Georgia, and they are still in the playoffs. Auburn gets into the playoffs if they run the table on Bama and Georgia. The Bulldogs get into the playoffs if they win the SEC championship and don’t trip up against Kentucky or GT.
