A bunch of conference championship slots are already determined, and most teams are out of the running.

And most players aren't getting all-conference or MVP's regardless of what they do in the last 2 games...and any players good enough for all-conference or MVP awards likely think they're NFL-bound...and that probably motivates them more than the college honor
