in college basketball considering teams can go cold on any given night, and the game is played by 18-22 year old kids. I'm not worried about the missed shots, but the total lack of intensity is frustrating. Buzz preaches effort and toughness, but we continue to play something that barely resembles defense and get abused on the glass by a team that's even smaller than us!

Oh well, hopefully just an off night all around including the effort and physicality. Whether we like it or not, we aren't built in a way that's conducive to controlling the boards against larger teams (not SLU!). Still, this roster is full of talent with 6 four star and 1 borderline five star recruits. Let's hope this loss doesn't come back to haunt us, as a NIT appearance would be an extreme disappointment with this group.
