So you are correct, it was like two teams trying to play two completely different games. And in those situations, the team most effective in setting the tempo it wants always wins.

My question is this- why is Buzz allergic to a press? This is not the first time a lesser team has beaten us by turning the game into a halfcourt crawl, and it won't be the last, unless our coach is willing to force tempo on both the offensive AND defensive ends of the court.

We have built a roster that is perfect for a 'havoc' or '40 minutes of hell' type of system but we seem content to let teams methodically work the ball around in the halfcourt. We are aggressive on O and passive on D. I don't get it.
