UVa 21-14 MIA at half. Once again, not cool.
1) UVa wins at MIA, that looks like a program-changing win. It's nice that UVa is better competition now, but we do NOT want *too* much change -- especially that kind of change.
2) Win today, I am thinking that earns Bronco ACC coach of the year regardless of next week or bowl game results. It would be nice to give credit where credit is due (actually I think Bronco deserves it), but ONLY if the Hoos finish below VT.
3) Win today, that makes the Hoos 7-4, with a chance to finish 8-4 by beating VT -- which *could* enable UVa to finish 2nd in Coastal.
4) Do you all really want UVa in a better bowl than VT? Beating MIA on the road could achieve that for them. Once again, it's actually nice they get to go bowling again -- gentlemen's rivalry and all that. But let's not take it too far.
5) The damage may already be done by leading at halftime, but for SURE a UVa win has those guys thinking they can win next week and exorcise those VT demons.
