Some thoughts on Hoo thug life... and CBM

I didn't see this posted on here, but I saw 2 things last night that I hope CBM will deal with, if he's got any class.

First, I thought Brown's swing in the general direction of the ref was bad, but did everyone see what started that whole thing? Brown was twisting our player's knee, which led to the push, which led to the punch. There's no damn excuse for that at any level, for any reason! Play was over, and an immensely strong man is trying to intentionally injure another man after the whistle by potentially tearing knee ligaments. He should be kicked off the team and not be allowed to play AT ALL in the Hoo bowl game, if they get one. This, IMO, is worse than Marcus's stomp on Dumervil (which got him kicked off VT, if I remember correctly). A bruise from being stepped on you can recover from, a torn knee ligament may be a career-ender...

The other one I thought was similar was when a Hoo (Blanding, I think) helped himself up off the ground using one of our player's helmets to push off of. Totally, completely classless behavior. Pin another man's head down while you're standing up? At least our TE stiff-armed him earlier and drove his head into the ground - but that was a legal play before the whistle blew.

I can just hear all those bow-tie and cardigan-wearing sissies up in Charlottesville who just finished their fourth-year fifth running their mouths about what a bunch of classless rednecks we are, and how our team is full of thugs, the refs were on our side, etc. etc. Ha ha.

Go Hokies, great win!
