Today, at the MBB game, the scoreboard running stats went unchanged for over 8-minutes. You would think, with the money spent on new scoreboards, that there would be some investment in training the personnel.
Last year, a friend of the family told me to quit picking on them, because they're volunteers. I had to correct her, and tell her they were paid. At times, it seems they're watching the game rather than performing their duties.
They can certainly get the ads changed, but they can't keep the stats even semi-current. The announcer is good, but the the guys/ladies running the board are atrocious.
The guy sitting next to me today texted Gabbard during the game, but he did nothing. Torgerson's son is useless as teats on a boar hog. Paying for modern equipment is useless if the people hired to run it are incompetent. Keeping the board running semi-efficiently is part of customer service.
And, the same people are even worse at WBB. Com'n Tom, evaluate personnel and make them competent, or get someone who is.
