Looking at all the big name jobs open at the moment and seeing as Chip Kelly is already off the board, there just aren't enough guys available for head jobs. I think guys like sumlin should get another year. If they decide to move on (and signs point to them moving on), are they really going to upgrade? it's like a Qb coming back for a year to avoid a QB heavy draft in favor of one with less prime guys. No guarantee next year will be less coaching changes, just seems like maybe this isn't the best time.
