Even if he didn't have all that baggage, he'd be supremely underwhelming


I mean, we're talking about a program that has known for a minimum of 2 years that their current coach isn't going to cut it. So, you'd think that for having such a long period of time to informally put out feelers, gauge interest, and having a decent head start on most other teams in terms of firing their current coach, that they could've done than Schiano. They've already got to go against Pruitt at Georgia, who has them playing at a high level, and you also know Florida's about to get a new head coach, and all you can muster is Greg Schiano? That would be a real throw-in-the-towel kind of hire, they're going to go another 4 or 5 years without winning the SEC East and then have to try to not to make a 5th bad hire in a row.
