Players on both sides were jawing back and forth between each other. Early in the game Gaines was pancaked on a crackback block by I think the TE (second # was a 4). When the UVA player got up, he proceeded to block Gaines while he was still laying on his back. I was waiting for the official to throw the flag penalize him for "Giving him the business" (only reason I remember the play).

Then there was a scuffle that took place off camera, so I am not sure what started it. Even though UVA players completely lost their composure at the end of the game, I am not sure all the VT players can say they played "cleanly" for the entire game. I hope they can say it, but I also know that things can get "nasty" in trenches and in piles.
