Consider this sequence:


-LT knocks the DE down.
-QB throws the ball.
-DE is on the ground and no longer involved in the play because the ball is gone.
-LT dives on the end.
-That is a penalty, and it does get called.

In my opinion, the play we are talking about was like this.
