Wonder if this is a net-gain for most players
If you're a first-round NFL talent (Leonard Fournette, Christian McCaffrey) -- teams are willing to overlook most off-field issues, dedication, attitude, etc.
But if you're a mid-round talent -- gotta figure some NFL teams will downgrade you for bailing on your teammates. The guy who skips a bowl game is more likely to be the guy who won't play through minor injuries, won't do the dirty work, won't spend extra hours @ practice or video.
So if you're healthy (by skipping your bowl game), but you drop 20-40 spots in the draft -- is that worth the trade-off?
