Ole Miss observations

Went to game and sat behind our bench, fun although very frustrating until a few mins into the 2nd half.

- Sweet arena, Ole Miss is not good.. they are a typical SEC program, great athletes but not great BBall players. What a nice little campus/town though. For any VT haters, our players and coaches are much more talented than Andy Kennedy's group..not even close. As the fouls built up, the fans really sort of understood what was likely to happen.

- Justin Robinson makes it all go, just a different team when he is in there. Clarke was a close 2nd, albeit w a couple TO's here and there. Go back and watch the tape on JR of the last few mins. no chance w/o him in there. High pick/roll, et al. Him and KJ feasted on one of those last buckets.

- KJ Blackshear is incredibly athletic for his size and the fact he has only 1 good foot. I cant believe he does what he does out there w his foot injury.. he did a spin move on someone from the FT line.. missed the layup but was super powerful move. Why have we not heard about the root/cause of what ails him?? Seems like it has been way underplayed, he is limping on every move, on the ball of his left foot putting no pressure on achilles. What is the back story/future on this? Makes our big man situation more precarious than I even realized.

- Devin, IMO, is a defensive specialist only... ball goes nowhere w him.. all passes low risk and we play 4 on 5. Good team player but role should be limited. The sling shot FT's at the end darn near killed me.

- Justin Bibbs was off a little but a great player. NAW played well too and hit that big 3 late. I really enjoyed seeing all the guys in an away setting. .cheering each other on. Pig was getting into it. Like our bench a lot. We can do some damage this year if we play defense and stay healthy. Bede didnt play so not sure why.
