Nah, they played CO St because they were the in-state D-1 rival.


Oregon was 22-22 (13-18 in PAC) from '84-'87. That would be like calling Cal, Utah, UCLA and Oregon cupcakes today.

Cupcakes are teams we have no business playing, like ... Liberty, ODU, W&M, Delaware, Furman, W. Mich, W. Car, Austin Peay, Bolling Green, App St, Ark St, C. Mich, JMU, etc. etc. etc.
