Salem made several changes after the first game and their defense really came on in the 2nd half of the season. Plus, once DeAngelo Ramsey started getting all the carries (he was splitting carries until Owens got hurt), teams had a tough time stopping him. In the playoffs, no one stopped him. He was the best player on the field every game he played including games against kids that were highly recruited.
