What if it the Hoos had beaten us 14 times in a row? What would have changed?
1) Instead of 4 ACC Championships we would only have one (2010). It would have been a 3-way tie with FSU and UVa in 2004 with any tiebreaker going to FSU (we didn't play FSU and they beat UVa).
2) Instead of 6 Division Champions, we would only have two (2010 and 2016).
3) UVa would have 2 Division Champions (2007 and 2011). This would have given them two opportunities to win their first outright championship in the history of the ACC. No big deal, they have only been members for 64 years.
4) Our bowl streak would have been broken in 2014 and we would have missed out again in 2015.
5) We would not have our overall perfect ACC season (9-0) in 2010.
5) Instead of finishing ahead of UVa in the standings 14 years in a row, we would have finished behind them (when applying tiebreaker criteria) seven years.
6) We would have so much less to laugh about.
