G. Southern, App State, Coastal Carolina, Old Dominion, Liberty are all gone. The competition isn't what it was. Do you go FBS and go 5-7 or 6-6 most years like ODU and become another no-name, or do you stay and compete for titles year in and year out. I don't know the answer. I guess money comes into play and I'm not sure how much more money JMU would get for going FBS.
