Perhaps you are right. And maybe about respecting their transition D too
much. The thing is Kentucky's big players are fast too and I'm not sure how much an advantage we had from being small and fast, because fast is, well, fast. So did their fast cancel out our fast? But the quickest way to bring another team out of a press is by attacking the rim off of it repeatedly for easy baskets. So maybe it was just the respect thing, but I thought Kentucky looked vulnerable at least a few times once we were across midcourt and we didn't exploit it.
