Not really, we saw what Fuente can do with just a little talent
Last season, we set all kinds of offensive records, finished in the top 40, something Beamer did I think twice in 30 years; then we lost 4 huge pieces, and had very little behind it.
Compound that with HUGE injuries to Nijman, Savoy, down the stretch, and there's really nothing more you could ask for. Offense finished 65a ranking we used to think was pretty good back in the old Beamer days. The offenses that finished in the 100s every other year a few years back had much more talent than this team has.
If you think the offense should be better than it is given the dearth of depth and talent, then you really haven't followed football very long.
