Its easy to get bogged down in the weeds with all the different services and ratings, and potential biases. We've had many (including myself) contend over the years that there could be some sort of bias going on, but after SO many years of seeing our rankings, and seeing our performance....the two line up pretty well.....we don't quite recruit with the upper echelon, and we really don't quite play with them either.

Although there are nuances to be realized, just count the 4/5* players we recruit, and it gives you a pretty accurate thumbnail of where we are. The teams that win the national title every year are signing top 5-10 classes all the time.
