He had struggles in high school and by all accounts has turned that around, but I would imagine he doesn't enjoy all the schoolwork (many players don't).

The NFL is a job, and if he could turn around his academics you think he has the determination to make it happen in the league.

Personally I think Edmunds should go this year, and Alexander should stay. I'm on the fence about settle because he doesn't get the hype he deserves, but I also believe he would kill the combine and shoot up draft boards. He's got one of the brightest NFL futures I've seen on our team in a long time and I would hate to see and injury derail that.
