When you are talking about the "tenth" coach, how much coaching and
instruction is that position really providing. It's more about the bling or wow factor of a former NFL player to keep the program image fresh and relevant with recruits and the media. They can also be a good mentor. There are plenty of other coaches on staff to actually provide instruction, technique and game planning. JMHO
