1) VT isn't a very good team offensively despite the ppg number they've put up all year

2) They won't get much better offensively as the season goes on

3) VT is not very good defensively against teams willing to be patient in the half court.

4) VT is an elite team in transition.

5) VT is still an NCAA Tournament team...if you find yourself in a panic after tonight or in a state of euphoria after a win over one of the blue bloods, try to stay even-keeled with who this team really is...they're a top 35-40 team who has the opportunity to beat most teams on a given night, but probably not consistent enough to be a threat for much more.

UVA has a ceiling due to their philosophy, and that's easy to look at and see. But VT also has a ceiling due to theirs. Buzz certainly raised the ceiling of what the program can accomplish, but there's still a ceiling there...
