NC, trying to get information from

the VTTO/HC/AthDept is like trying to pull the legendary Hen's teeth. It took me several emails to get the 1383 blocked seat info (not counting the students) from them. I suspect I only got the info because I took screenshots of the blocked seats prior to selection, so they couldn't deny it.
The lack of transparency from the aforementioned entities is another reason I liken them to a corporate entity. They have increased cost with a decrease in customer service.
Why don't you ask them who the corporate entities are that have tickets, but don't use them? Now, I also have to give a PSA here: the owners of the seats are free to use (or not use) the seats as they see fit. IMO, the new corporate Hokie family is a little dysfunctional. The former insiders have been replaced by corporate and other entities, who have much deeper pockets than I. WB can argue, legitimately, that these entities earned (bought) their preferential treatment. I really can't argue with that. However, I refuse to listen to complaints about empty seats when decisions by the AthDept have resulted in the situation we're in.
