Declaring early should not be allowed, sends wrong message.
Players should be expected to play and complete their degree.
On average, it is better for the players, the team, and the school.
High caliber athletes should get the benefit of a redshirt year, but that is all.
Most of the time, kids that leave college early end up hurting their NFL career rather than helping it, they walk away from their degree without completing it, and they send the wrong message to kids about the importance of education.
The Greedy NFL scouts can wait a year to get their kids.
The kids will be a year wiser, be degreed, and able to represent themselves within the NFL system with more wisdom.
Just don't like letting the NFL cherry pick kids from their degrees.
Horrible that it is allowed.
