I think what I have learned from my post here and reading responses is....

College kids should have to stick to a contract with the schools or get penalized to withdraw early.

And, in order to have the kids sign a contract, they should be provided some type of payment outside of the free tuitiion.

Again, i think it is in the kids best interest to stay with a school until they graduate, unless the school decides to release them (say if they can't get playing time etc.)
This way, kids / family benefit from income, kid stays in school and finished degree (benefitting most players), kid get to reach full potential before hittting nfl, and kid is in best position to negotiate their contract with nfl.

As a side market, kids can qualify for insurance policy if agreed with school in the event of injury, to cover expenses if they miss out on NFL due to injury.

So, college athletes paid / contract signed / kids graduate / go to nfl degreed /
Kids win / Families win / Teams win / Colleges win / College Football wins / NFL still gets their kids.
All is good in the world. Is there a down side here?

Who's with me!!!!!
