Wilson is incredibly tentative with the ball. And his rep as a defender is vastly inflated. It stems from the fact that he's more willing to give his body up (whether taking a charge or guarding a bigger, stronger player) than most of our guys. But his footwork and anticipation is nothing to write home about and he's not good when defending on the perimeter.

At this point, Wilson should be used for one reason only, and that's to spell Bibbs or Hill if either of those guys gets in foul trouble or needs a break. I would like to see Bede get all the minutes at PG when Robinson isn't on the floor. He's much quicker than Wilson, a better ballhandler, more of a scoring threat, and the O doesn't grind to a halt when he's running the show.
