Yep no commitment at all from VT

Moir was good, but got involved in scandal and left, but frankie allen was not good, (you can bet VT got frankie on the cheap). Then VT gets foster on the cheep, solid coach that made the program competitive, but nothing to grow. He left and Hussey his asst was given the chance (at the cheap), That was a disaster. Jim Weaver, was never one to invest in basketball, Stokes was name from UVA but no experience coaching. That was never a right connection.
Seth was an interesting hire. He had problems with administration at South Fla and Long beach, and looking. Damn was able to escape south fla for the VA tech job, and Jim was able to hire him on the cheap. He Push Jim back and forth and scrap the program into reputable program. But his relationship between his staff and Weaver as just as scrappy as his play style. That ended and Weaver got for the cheap Johnson

Whit had an amazing hire in Buzz, national reputation, solid coach who wanted to go the ACC and VT had potential. He's working hard, but he's facing the challenge all programs want to be. The program reputation in the AAU high school circuit has to be changed, VT has to win some big games, and amazing plays. Buzz preaches hard work, and players are doing it, but I think its beginning to wear, because of all the hard work, they are not getting a success.

Nationally, Buzz is preaching the message of exciting things in blacksburg, and the national experts trust it and they trust Buzz. Its just going to take awhile.

And btw another bar to jump is ability to recruit national big man. But doesn't every aspiring team want a 6-10 240 lb player who averages 10 rebounds and 18 points again.
