I think the days of attempting to duplicate Corey Moore are over

The d line have been far more effective the last 2 years the last 2 years particularly against the run with DEs playing guys that are 240+. A speed rush pretty meaningless when all it takes is a 290lb tackle to graze a 220lb DE to take him out of the play. Guys like Dadi flashed big from time to time but were regularly consumed by blockers vs. a Mihota who may not be as fast or flashy but consistently disrupts plays by getting penetration and not getting taken completely out of the play because he’s too small to match up with a tackle or worse gets blown up by a RB that’s the same size. 240 to 260 at the DE appears to be the new normal and I’m thrilled with the results.
