Interesting point about this: I wrote it on March 12, 1999, and I wrote that Bobby Hussey would be back to coach his third season. Ten days later, Jim Weaver fired him.

That firing was 18 days after the season ended. Eye roll. Classic Jim Weaver. But he probably wanted to wait until some teams were eliminated from the NCAA tourney.

Also interesting: I was effusive in my praise about what a great leader Jim Weaver was. I would later change my opinion on on that.
