Miami at VT and beyond.

One loss and need to stay focused.
My thoughts on Miami game is our turnovers per game have improved. Our ball movement in this game was not as lively. We looked a little low energy. I'm not sure if sickness is going through team but Blackshear played very little and Hill did not have much energy. We missed the contributions of these two. I thought Horne and Bede did what they could off the bench . Blackshear played 15 minutes and had 2 points and 1 rebound. Hill did play 26 minutes , below average and had 0 points and three rebounds. This was ultimately the difference in the game as these two are usually more productive and better free throw shooters. Miami was 8 points better on free throw line. Our rebounding was bad in first half and it has improved lately. Our shot selection was not as good as what I have seen lately.
Going forward Buzz Williams teams are usually better down the stretch. We have 8 conference games left. Our home games are N.C. State, Clemson, Louisville, and Duke. Our road games are UVA, Duke, Georgia Tech, and Miami. This is my thinking. Four wins will probably leave us on the bubble. Obviously if one of those wins was versus Duke or UVA that would help. The problem this year is lack of strength of schedule in non conference period. Four wins possibly, five wins and we are in.
One question for knowledgeable VT fans is Have we ever been selected to NCAA tournament two years in a row?
I would like to see us win three of four at home and beat GT and one other on the road.
