Not sure about that. Winning the NIT gets you more exposure than 1-and-done


And I suspect the top four NIT teams would be equivalent to a 9-12 seed team in the NCAAs.
There are a lot of teams (13-16 seeded) in the NCAA that aren't very good and we would beat most of them.
