This scandal is about players getting money under the table from agents and shoe companies. Prior to Buzz, when has VT had a recruit that was worthy of getting paid under the table in such a fashion? These were big-time players going to big-time schools, not a school in the middle of a 10 year tournament drought.
I don't recall the recruitment of Jeff Allen, Malcolm Delaney, etc. from the Seth years. I know that they were good "gets" for VT, but were they worthy of the underhanded tactics alleged by the FBI?
Maybe a presumably clean VT can ascend in the vacuum created by NCAA sanctions against these programs. LOL. The NCAA will be so upset about this development, they'll give Georgia Southern two more years of probation.
