Watched it again...really disappointing...frankly, not a good look for us

I'll be very honest. I thought we were going to blow the barn doors off this game and win by 25+. I really did.

There was nothing to suggest that Louisville would get up off its keister or that we would cool off. I guess that's why they play the games.

I am alternating between "it is what it is, we should've seen this coming, it's a bad matchup" and "dammit, Buzz, this game was a chance to really get ahead in the rat race and we blew it at home."

I get it that Louisville suddenly realized that they were by no means in a shoo-in for the dance and magically decided to play w a new sense of urgency. My personal opinion, they ought to be permanently banned from the tourney, but that's another issue altogether.

Honestly, having seen the game for a second time, it's really disappointing. We didn't do any of the things that got us here, and we went back to doing things we did during our not-so-good stretch earlier in the season. Regression is not something you expect this time of the year (from anyone).

Wilson was just plain putrid today. Can't even begin to quantify how bad. B.A.D. He's done way more good for us than bad, so I still want him to be a key player. He just didn't have it today, to say the least. Blackshear did not play smart. That's key. I don't know exactly what to make of Clarke. I feel like today was a game where he should have played even more minutes. He once again showed speed and (some) aggressiveness, but he just doesn't get defense. His Jekkyl and Hyde season continues.

Robinson was great once again, he just didn't have much to work with.

I don't know what Buzz said or didn't say before/during. Obviously it wasn't one of his better games coaching. He's had a lot of good ones with us, this wasn't his best.

At the end, a really big disappointment. I thought this was a slam dunk win. A lot of people did. Officiating I thought was horrendous, but I won't use that as an excuse. Never heard of two of those guys. Guys on borrow from local high schools, I assume. Extremely inconsistent. Call Robinson's shot a 3 after review, then it somehow magically ends up still being a 2? Joke.

I think VT beats Duke, FWIW. Probably not much.
