So, he looked good on his profile picture, but not as pretty in real life?

The thing is that Tim does have the skill necessary to excel in the NFL. The bad thing is that he showed up unprepared which exhibits a disturbing lack of discipline, dedication, and motivation. Now the owners and coaches are going to weigh that to determine where they might decide to draft him based on that.

A good example in ordinary life, you put in a application for a job opening where 100 others are applying for the same position with a base salary of high 6 figures. Your resume is better than most of the pool of candidates and they call to set up a interview. Before the interview, you can not be bothered to find out anything about the company and you throw on a wrinkled tee shirt, dirty jeans, and flip flops and head out to the interview. During the interview, you lack attention and focus and continually check your phone for messages. Several other candidates show up prepared and dressed appropriately and turn off their phones during the interview. Now which of the applicants do you think has a better opportunity to be hired?

Yes, it is an exaggeration but the point remains the same. Here you have a younger player that has exhibited a weight issue in the past, has not really applied himself in the classroom and has gotten by most of his life on his natural abilities and gifts. How much confidence do you have in his future if he is not willing to apply himself to prepare for the most important interview of his life? Is he willing to put in the hard work in the off season to better himself and keep his weight under control?
